Job Description

Leading company in the energy sector is seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer to join the Asset Integrity Group within our Consulting Services Department (CSD) in Saudi Arabia. The Consulting Services Department provides effective specialized engineering consultations, introduces viable technologies, and maintains quality standards.

As an Asset Integrity Engineer, your primary role will be to provide operational and project support, technical consultations, and maintain standards related to the Asset Integrity Management System (AIMS) and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide operating facilities with guidance to establish and safeguard asset integrity throughout the asset lifecycle.
  2. Initiate and/or conduct special studies to improve facilities or operations via specialized technical services in recognized engineering fields.
  3. Define asset integrity and process safety targets and establish standards to sustain operational excellence.
  4. Provide direction for the development and implementation of AIMS.
  5. Collaborate with engineering design offices both within and outside the Kingdom, acting as the focal point for project reviews and technical matters related to engineering fields.
  6. Drive the implementation and improvement of an integrated medium to long-term AIMS for various asset types, including refineries, gas plants, GOSPs, LNG facilities, terminals, and infield flow & trunk lines.
  7. Evaluate and adopt industry best practices to benchmark the company against other international oil companies.
  8. Strategize and formulate an assurance and reporting process to ensure technical integrity barriers remain fit for purpose.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical, Material, or Electrical. A master's degree is desirable.
  • Minimum of 20 years of professional and technical experience as an asset integrity engineer in the oil and gas industry, with a strong understanding of related international standards (e.g., ASME & API).
  • Certification as a Fundamental Engineer (F.E.).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and networking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
  • Knowledge of Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Asset Life Extension, and Decommissioning.
  • Familiarity with Asset Performance Management tools and solutions.
  • Willingness to relocate to KSA.
