ROLE OVERVIEW



We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate to join our Treasury team. This role will focus on supporting the company's funding activities, including the day-to-day management of third-party borrowings, debt compliance, interest payments, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of corporate finance principles, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for managing multiple facilities and diverse stakeholders. The role will be reporting to the Head of Treasury Funding.



REQUIREMENTS SUMMARY


Debt Management


  • Support day-to-day oversight of third-party debt facilities, including governance, drawdowns, repayments, and interest payments.

Covenant & Compliance Monitoring


  • Track debt covenants and prepare compliance reports for lenders and internal stakeholders.

Reporting & Analysis


  • Maintain debt schedules, assist with cash flow forecasting, and provide insights on funding strategy and market trends.

Stakeholder Coordination


Liaise with banks, legal teams, and internal departments to ensure accurate execution and documentation of funding activities.



ROLE COMPETENCIES & ACTIVITIES


The Treasury Funding Associate’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:


Treasury Markets Management


  • Support the management of third-party debt facilities, including term loans, revolving credit facilities, and other funding instruments.
  • Monitor and forecast debt service obligations (interest, principal repayments, fees).
  • Assist in debt covenant tracking and compliance reporting to lenders.
  • Prepare and maintain debt schedules and funding models to track outstanding balances, maturities, and interest rate exposures.
  • Liaise with banks, rating agencies, legal counsel, and other stakeholders regarding loan documentation, drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments.
  • Support the execution of treasury transactions, including wires and intercompany funding movements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all funding activities and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide analytical support for new debt issuances, refinancing initiatives, and capital structure optimization.
  • Assist in preparing treasury reports for internal stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Work closely with the risk management team to monitor financial markets and interest rate trends.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS


Knowledge, Skills and Experience


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking (preferably with exposure to debt capital markets or within a lending agency team).
  • Strong understanding of debt instruments, loan agreements, and financial covenants.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; experience with treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP) is an advantage.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments and with external partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and present actionable insights.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (CFA, CTP, or MBA is a plus).
