Tent Operations Specialist - KSA

To ensure that team members perform their duties in compliance with company policies and procedures. Manpower and resources are used in the warehouse and on-site to meet standards in a cost-effective way. Ensure safe and healthy working conditions by adhering to company health and safety policy.

Manage teams both in the warehouse and on-site to ensure that the highest standard of structure is prepared and installed using industry best practices.

Ensuring that all stocks are maintained.

Requirements

MANAGEMENT

• Overseeing complete temporary structures work activities of the division and resource allocations for the projects are sufficient and efficient based on the complexity of the project.
• Manage any fabrication elements required for any project should there be any customization requirements. Either through advice to the respective division or through subcontractors.
• Planning, Scheduling, Staffing, shift and work timing required should be done to meet the delivery deadlines.
• Develop and implement standard fabrication and erection procedures to optimize efficiency and ensure health and safety standards are met.
• Implement and enforce quality control and inspections to meet quality objectives.
• Ensure that the product is prepared as per the best practices of the department and make sure the quality is controlled and inspected at every stage of the process.
• Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of all stock and equipment and maintain records of the same.
• Ensure that standard elements are maintained and kept ready and in a well-maintained manner to serve the purpose as and when required.
• Manage and control the stock of standard elements and check that inventory records are accurate and current.
• Recommend resources, products, and training, to ensure that the organization can meet future demands from the department.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.

Ensure proper coordination

• Co-ordinate with associated departments for their scope of work, delivery schedule and see that it is transferred to the team within the department.
• Conduct regular meetings with interdepartmental operation managers to discuss ongoing projects and site build-up scheduling and to optimize transport and manpower requirements.

Administrative follow up:

• Oversee that all request forms from the department are sent on time (purchase request, manpower requirement) additional resources must be requested in advance to accomplish the project on time.
• Monitor and allocate stocks through the stores and warehousing division.
• Keep track and record of outside labor and sourcing or recommending additional suppliers to increase the database.
• Co-ordinate with HR & Finance follow-up documentation for the workers travelling outside UAE.
• Keep track of workers on vacation and follow up with HR.

Cost control and production cost

• Provide the estimation to the project owners and advise the best solutions to be cost-effective.
• Manage to keep project costs within defined budgets.

General Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment

• You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.
• You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company.
• You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.
• You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety, and environment to others.
