Job description

Job Description:

Data Classification:

  1. Develop and implement a data classification framework within NHC to categorize data based on sensitivity and business value.
  2. Implement NDMO data classification standards and associated data risks.
  3. Assign appropriate security and access controls to classified data to ensure confidentiality and regulatory compliance.
  4. Educate stakeholders on data classification policies and procedures to promote responsible data handling.
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in Informatica Data Privacy Management (DPM), Data Quality (IDQ), and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).
  6. Expertise in using Informatica Data Quality for data profiling, cleansing, matching, and standardization.
  7. Ability to create and maintain data quality rules and metrics, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  8. Experience in conducting data quality assessments and identifying potential data quality issues.
  9. Knowledge of data quality best practices and methodologies for continuous improvement.
  10. Automate data workflows and schedules to optimize efficiency.
  11. Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues effectively.
  12. Experience in using Informatica EDC to create and manage a comprehensive data catalog.
  13. Ability to capture and maintain metadata, including technical, business, and operational details.
  14. Proficiency in data discovery and search capabilities to enable efficient data access and analysis.
  15. Understanding of data lineage and impact analysis for tracing data dependencies and change impact.
  16. Experience in using Informatica DPM for data discovery and classification purposes.
  17. Ability to identify and categorize sensitive data based on predefined policies.
  18. Knowledge of Data Domain Match conditions and Policy Impressions in DPM for effectively classifying data.
  19. Understanding of how DPM integrates with Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC) for comprehensive data governance.

Additional Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business users to translate business needs into actionable data analysis requirements.
  2. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data governance, metadata management, data quality, and data classification.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience as a data analyst with a strong focus on data governance, metadata management, data quality, and data classification.
  3. Proven expertise in Informatica Data Privacy Management (DPM), Data Quality (IDQ), and Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC).
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  7. Meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
