Senior Engineering Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the update of the technical policies and standards relating to Facilities Management.
- Liaises with wider industry bodies to capture the latest approaches to delivery of Facilities Management.
- Studies the best practices on Facilities Management policies and seeks applicability to F&E.
- Reviews government guidelines including safety, environment, sustainability policies, procedures, and standards.
- Reviews international guidelines applicable to facilities management and incorporates applicable rules, regulations, and guidelines.
- Updates the Facilities Management Policies and Guidelines.
- Communicates to F&E on updates to Engineering Policies and Guidelines.
- Coordinates with Regulatory Authorities to update standards.
- Recommends updates to the standards, policies, and guidelines for approval at the Infrastructure Board.
- Acts as the custodian of the developed standards and specifications.
- Tracks and ensures compliance with Facilities Management policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Reviews design at various stages of the project (i.e. 30%, 60% & 90% completion) to ensure compliance.
Education:
Bachelors/Masters/PhD in Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in developing and implementing organizational policies and standards.
