MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- Manage the operation of the Quality Control (QC) on site by preparing and implementing Quality Controls Plans and Procedures according to Company QC procedures, International standards and specific contract requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and manage all Quality Control functions in the workplace and manage a team of QC engineers and inspectors for day to day QC functions.
- Interface and coordinate with clients for production/construction and QC matters and coordinate with third party inspection agencies for all related inspection activities.
- Prepare Quality Control procedures/work instruction, ITP (Inspection Test Plans) according to project/client requirements and follow-up for its approval and monitor the implementation.
- Act as a coordination point for ISO internal and external audits.
- Act as a coordination point for Subcontractor audits and reviews of Sub contractor quality control programs.
- Supervise Inspection of Cable Lying (both in Trenches and Cable Tray).
- Supervise the quality control activities while installation and pre-commissioning of all electrical equipment such High, Medium & Low voltage switch gears, protective relays and Motor Control Centers.
- Supervise Installation and Pre-commissioning inspection of Power and Distribution transformers, High, Medium & Low voltage panel boards.
- Supervise Functional Tests of all electrical equipment (Like MCC, Transformers, Relay Panels, CT, PTs, UPS etc.).
- Pursue any other activities within the job scope assigned by his direct Manager or organization management.

- Maintain the safety standards and comply with Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Management System Requirements.
- Take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others in the workplace.
- Follow and maintain Company standards of Quality in accordance with Company Quality System requirements.
SOCIAL COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain company’s social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.
- Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.
- Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company’s social management system.
REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION
Basic Requirements:
- Qualification: Bachelor of Electrical Engineering.
- Related Field Experience: +5 years of experience in related field.
- Overall Experience: +5 years of experience.
