Job description

We are looking for a highly talented senior Product Designer to join our Fintech domain. If you're eager to make a significant impact, collaborate with a highly skilled and diverse design team, and thrive in a dynamic B2C environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a Senior Product Designer at Hungerstation, you’ll:

1. Develop deep domain knowledge of the Fintech domain and collaborate to solve the toughest problems.
2. Understand the problem space through generative research, synthesize insights, and run workshops to design a wow customer experience.
3. Govern a design system thoughtfully, evaluating and continuously improving the user experience.
4. Understand the different areas of our product and where HungerStation standards should be applied.
5. Create simple, elegant solutions to complex interaction problems with high attention to detail and scalability.
6. Work with Product Managers to define focus areas and contribute to the overall direction of your product area while measuring ongoing improvement.
7. Gather continuous feedback from users through different stages of the problem-solving process.
8. Facilitate cross-functional, collaborative workshops focused on achieving desired outcomes, such as generating ideas and soliciting feedback.
9. Use and evolve our design system to design flows, prototypes, sketches, and high-fidelity visuals for your features.
10. Continuously improve design processes, knowledge, and tools to enhance productivity and product quality.
11. Proactively drive cooperation within the design chapter and foster collaboration with other departments.
12. Regularly present your work to peers, stakeholders, and leaders for review and feedback.

Qualifications

1. Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
2. Previous experience working in the Saudi market and/or with start-ups.
3. Prior experience in Fintech, BNPL, or Banking domains is a must.
4. Demonstrated expertise in highly agile or Scrum-based environments, particularly within KSA-based start-ups.
5. Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable mobile and web products.
6. Strong proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
7. Experience with JIRA and Notion is a strong advantage.
8. Prior experience in building and managing design systems is highly desirable.
9. Candidates must attach their portfolio or a Figma file with full access to demonstrate their work.
