The Role

DGM’s Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) is a high-growth area in our business, enabling electric distribution utilities to monitor, manage, control, and optimize the grid. As an Intermediate ADMS Project Consultant, you will be involved in all aspects of delivering systems to our customers. You will leverage your experience with utility operations, ADMS systems, and business processes to lead and advise utility clients during ADMS implementation. You will act as a trusted advisor, engaging with all levels of the utility, from field crews to executive management. You will collaborate with DGM’s functional teams, including ADMS Application Engineers, the Architecture and Product Solution teams, and our Software Development organization. Your insights will influence the future direction of ADMS products and serve as the 'voice for the utility' within DGM. This role reports to the Manager, ADMS Project Consulting.

Your Impact
  1. Lead ADMS business process reviews for AspenTech electric utility clients to understand current ('As-Is') and future ('To-Be') process mappings.
  2. Perform contractual requirements analysis on ADMS projects, identifying potential concerns for project teams.
  3. Use your utility knowledge and experience to provide insights, guidance, and recommendations to ADMS clients, project teams, and product development.
  4. Promote the importance of project change management to build knowledge and support within ADMS projects.
  5. Stay informed about advancements in technology and industry innovations in digitalization, analytics, security, markets, and operational technology within the electric grid marketspace.
  6. Support ADMS project implementation teams by performing analysis, design, and test authoring as needed.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of project implementation or operational experience, preferably in the utility industry or relevant fields.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and international).
  • Knowledge of industry standards and trends.
  • Experience with electrical utility control systems (SCADA, EMS, GMS, DMS, OMS, DERMS) or utility operations/support roles or as a business analyst.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of Business Analysis and Change Management concepts and their implementation.
  • Strong commitment to providing superior customer service.

The salary range for this role is $99,400 - $124,300, reflecting our current good-faith estimate. Compensation may vary based on factors and future modifications. The role is eligible for bonuses or incentives. We also offer comprehensive benefits, including paid time off, charitable giveback days, medical/dental/vision insurance, and retirement plans for eligible employees.
