Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Procurement Senior Buyer to manage procurement activities related to project material supplies (excluding chemicals). The candidate will support procurement execution, supplier performance, and contribute to cost efficiency across all assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, conclude, and maintain project and spot buying services for material supplies (excluding chemicals).

Manage RFQs, POs, bid evaluations, and release orders for project-related materials.

Conduct supplier cost estimations and provide insights as required by end users.

Monitor project-related spot buying activities against budgets, schedules, and KPIs, and provide corrective support when necessary.

Evaluate supplier performance and efficiency related to project materials.

Identify cost-saving opportunities across project procurement activities.

Ensure timely and quality procurement of goods in line with project needs.

Conduct or support technical and commercial evaluations as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or engineering.

Minimum of 5 years experience in purchasing.

MCIPS certification is preferred.

Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, ideally SAP.

Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated technical and negotiation capabilities in procurement practices.

Proven experience in industrial procurement with leadership and teamwork skills.

Key behavioral traits include attention to detail, problem-solving, initiative, adaptability, and strong analytical skills.

Experience in Customer Relationship Management.
