A leading educational content and technology integrator is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth strategies and sales initiatives in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in institutional sales, particularly within government sectors, and will be responsible for establishing strategic partnerships and managing key stakeholder relationships.

Job description

• Co‑author a rolling 2–3 year growth strategy and business model with the Academic Director.
• Proactively refine Riyada Training’s internal and external business model, adding new services that meet market demand.
• Develop and implement business development strategies in line with Riyada Training’s vision and growth objectives.
• Lead sales initiatives targeting government, semi-government, and institutional clients.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across the public and private sectors.
• Identify new market opportunities and drive the expansion of Riyada Training’s service portfolio.
• Manage commercial partnerships, including contract negotiation and profit-sharing arrangements.
• Prepare and oversee budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
• Ensure the successful delivery of new products and services, meeting quality standards and deadlines.
• Promote Riyada Training’s offerings through strategic outreach and participation in relevant forums and events.
• Secure strategic partnerships locally and internationally with accreditation boards, government authorities, and educational training institutes.
• Co-ordinate and liaise with the Procurement team as needed throughout Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Award

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in business development, with a strong track record in institutional sales, particularly within government and semi-government sectors in Saudi Arabia.
• Proven ability to build and manage strategic partnerships.
• Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting and revenue planning.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English.
• Based in Riyadh, occasional travel needed
