Qualifications:

1. Education:
   • Bachelor's degree in Instrument Engineering (Process Automation) or System Application Engineer.
2. Professional Experience:
   • Total Experience: 10+ years related working experience.
3. Skills:
   • Able to self-start and learn on the fly.
   • Advanced technical knowledge in instrument control of chemical manufacturing processes.
   • Strong in interpersonal and intercultural communication.
   • Verbal and written proficiency in English.
   • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet applications.
   • Able and willing to work alternative schedules including weekends and on-call hours as needed.
   • Excellent analytical skills.

Task Description:

1. Knowledge and understanding of configuring and programming a variety of control systems including DCS, PLCs, and HMI systems.
2. Familiar with analyzers information/control systems and process analytical measuring systems.
3. Responsible for maintaining and supporting Sadara OT applications.
4. Provide data analysis, interpretation, and reports to support operational workflow to optimize unit performance.
5. Monitor applications to analyze system performance, identify problems, review application data and equipment offerings.
6. Work closely with operations and in-house teams to ensure the delivery of quality service.
7. Provide presentations and training sessions to the operation team regarding the use of the application/product.
8. Draft a process flow for each system application with all interconnecting components, servers, switches, and PLCs/DCS.
9. Act as the key focal point support for the OT applications.
10. Work with the network team to ensure applications/systems are protected and updated against cyber-attacks or unauthorized usage.
11. Understanding of plant networking technologies and topologies.
