Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Instrument & Control Engineering, or any relevant engineering field.
- Professional Experience: 10+ years of related work experience.

- Strong interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
Task Description:
- Assist in optimizing or designing new installations and modifications to existing facilities to improve quality, workflow, and prevent losses.
- Support the development of Process Control Strategy Descriptions involving Basic Process Control Systems (BPCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
- Develop BPCS/SIS programming and user interfaces to effectively control, monitor, and alert plant processes, ensuring safety against abnormalities.
- Support project teams in designing, implementing, and validating process automation components of BPCS and SIS.
- Develop configuration code for BPCS and SIS to meet design criteria, utilizing process control disciplines.
- Create models and simulations to test code, operator interfaces, and demonstrate control strategies and safety procedures.
- Participate in code validation and prepare installation and commissioning plans.
- Implement modifications to BPCS and SIS control strategies and loops as needed.
- Maintain adherence to engineering standards, design manuals, and documentation to enhance safety, safety, and productivity.
- Conduct training for personnel on relevant systems and equipment.
- Serve as the primary contact for process automation issues to ensure continuous plant operation.
- Support operator training on the CV-OTS system.
- Maintain progress reports and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Define problems and propose solutions.
- Comply with EH&S guidelines and safety protocols.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Require working knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), PLCs, and auxiliary control systems.
- Familiarity with process automation packages such as batch control, alarm management, asset management, etc.
- Understanding of chemical engineering principles, instrumentation, and plant operations for troubleshooting and review of control systems.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols like Foundation Fieldbus, HART, and data exchange between BPCS and SIS systems.
- Experience with safety instrumented systems and their application in chemical processing.
- Preferred experience in engineering improvement projects, new installations, and knowledge of product lines from ABB, Honeywell, Yokogawa, Invensys, Triconex.
