Job description

As an Engineering Technician (Plumber) at Four Seasons Red Sea, you will support the day-to-day maintenance and repair operations across the resort. Your role is essential in ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, and staff facilities remain in optimal condition, delivering the high standards of functionality and comfort expected from a Four Seasons experience.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for supporting maintenance and repair tasks, including electrical and plumbing work, responding to requests promptly, conducting quality inspections, maintaining tools and work areas, reading basic drawings, monitoring plant equipment, and participating in training and onboarding.

What You Will Do:

1. Perform routine maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, staff accommodations, and public areas.
2. Support electrical and plumbing tasks as needed.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and departments.
4. Conduct self-inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
6. Read and interpret basic layout and MEP (plumbing) drawings.
7. Monitor and maintain plant equipment; assist with preventive maintenance.
8. Provide feedback on operations, safety, and guest-related issues.
9. Participate in training sessions and departmental briefings.
10. Support onboarding of new team members and act as a role model.

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma required; technical or vocational training in engineering preferred, especially in electrical, A/C, or plumbing.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a five-star hotel or resort.
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Solid math and problem-solving abilities; psychometric aptitude is a plus.
• Team-oriented attitude with high professionalism.
• Commitment to guest satisfaction and responsibility.
• Ability to work safely, follow procedures, and report hazards immediately.
