Job Responsibilities :
- Analyze and evaluate all purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity and completeness in description of material and equipment.
- Prepare and issue requests for quotations to qualified vendors as per approved vendor list
- Interview prospective suppliers either face-to-face or over the phone to determine scope, prices, discounts, terms to ensure that target prices, company’s terms and conditions are met.
- Review the received technical and commercial offers, prepare comparative analysis and coordinate with technical departments that all clarifications are cleared.
- Prepare the approval form and getting the required signatures.
- Prepare purchase orders complying with received PRs and in accordance with selected suppliers, price and technical approval.
- Coordinate with project management, finance and cost control to ensure the efficient of procurement process.
- Communicate/coordinate with the Project Management, Engineering, logistic and Construction teams for product directions, availability, lead times, and cost roadmaps for key materials.
- Follow up to receive the bank guarantees and prepare the payment according to agreed conditions.
- Attend project review meeting normally arranged by Project Management.
- Follow and support returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- +5 years of experience.
- Understanding of construction industry processes with procurement or contracts experience.
