Position Objectives:

  • The Administration Support for Regulatory Expert will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Regulatory Affairs team.
  • This role will focus on assisting with regulatory compliance reporting, managing documentation, tracking deadlines, and supporting the preparation of reports and submissions to regulatory bodies.
  • The position is designed to ensure smooth operations, timely reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Regulatory Expert in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Assist in preparing regulatory filings and submissions.
  • Maintain and organize regulatory documentation, reports, and submissions, ensuring proper filing and easy retrieval. Ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with applicable regulations.
  • Assist in compiling and preparing reports related to regulatory compliance, tracking submission deadlines, and ensuring timely delivery of reports to regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and activities related to regulatory matters. Maintain calendars, set up appointments, and ensure that all parties are informed of upcoming deadlines or requirements.
  • Support the tracking of compliance deadlines, regulatory developments, and the status of ongoing regulatory projects. Ensure that all relevant data is accurately entered and maintained in the internal tracking systems.
  • Work closely with the legal, compliance, and technical teams to ensure that all aspects of regulatory compliance are met. Help in collecting necessary documents and data from different departments for regulatory reporting.
  • Prepare and send correspondence related to regulatory issues, both internally and externally, ensuring that communications are clear and timely.
  • Conduct research on changes in regulatory policies and requirements. Assist in monitoring any updates from regulatory bodies and communicate necessary changes to the relevant teams.
  • Assist the Regulatory Expert in preparing for regulatory audits, ensuring that all required documents and records are readily available. Support the audit process by organizing documents, schedules, and responding to requests from auditors.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field. Certification in Regulatory Compliance or equivalent is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a compliance reporting role, preferably in regulatory compliance or a telecommunications environment.
  • Solid understanding of reporting requirements, and compliance documentation.
  • Proven experience in supporting regulatory affairs, compliance teams, or similar departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), and experience with regulatory compliance management systems is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of regulatory reporting processes and compliance documentation.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
