Job Summary:



We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Controls Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost, time, and risk management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget. The Sr. Controls Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, monitoring, and controlling of project costs, schedules, and risks. This is a senior-level position that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients.



Key Responsibilities:



- Develop and implement project controls processes and procedures to ensure effective management of project costs, schedules, and risks



- Lead the development of project budgets and schedules, and regularly monitor and report on their status



- Identify and analyze potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project delivery



- Manage and mentor a team of project controls professionals, providing guidance and training as needed



- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project goals and objectives are met



- Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, costs, and risks



- Conduct regular audits and reviews of project controls processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions



- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in project controls and implement them as appropriate



Qualifications:



- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field



- Minimum of 20 years of experience in project controls, with at least 5 years in a leadership role



- Extensive knowledge of project management principles, techniques, and tools, with a focus on cost, time, and risk management



- Experience working on large, complex projects in the construction or engineering industry



- Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and mentor a team



- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders



- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera, Microsoft Project, and Excel



- Certifications in project management and/or cost and schedule management (e.g. PMP, PMI-SP) are preferred
