Job Summary:
To carry out routine field operating duties and to ensure safe and reliable performance of the plant/facility in compliance with client strategies and operational priorities (profit, safety, reliability, and environmental requirements).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and support to Control the process parameters as desired and handing over to the incoming shift in a systematic and orderly manner.
- Understand, follow, and perform the duties with approved available departmental standing instructions, Standard operating procedures, and other work permit systems.
- Operation and Monitoring the performance of process equipment in a safe manner.
- Communicate with the control room/supervisors immediately in case of any parameter abnormalities or process deviations noticed to ensure that the accurate condition of field equipment is maintained.
- Record and maintain accurate, timely log data of equipment and closely follow their performance.
- Prepare and hand over equipment in a safe manner to maintenance staff for repair and get back in service after checks as per PTW procedure.
- React to plant process/safety emergencies promptly and carry out actions as laid down in the company HSE procedures.
- Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environment as well as Work Permit, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate and cooperate with maintenance departments, lab, and other service dept. for the smooth running of the plant.
- Perform other related duties such as collection of samples, greasing, lubricating, adjusting glands, tightening the loose connection, changing filters, etc coordinating with relevant dept.
- Maintains adequate housekeeping according to Company’s HSE Procedures.
- Monitor environmental limits & arrange the disposal of plant hazardous waste to comply with environmental regulations.
- Compliance with all HSE.
- Perform the JTS (Job Task Standard) given by the Area Supervisor and Area Engineer.
- Perform general housekeeping. (DCU/PSF area) & equipment cleaning activities.
- Taking process samples requested by Shift Foremen, Area Supervisor, or Area Engineer.
- Follow the operation Instructions given by shift Foremen.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by the Area Shift Foreman or by supervisor.
Education / Professional Qualification:
- Education: Diploma Degree in industrial process.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience in the refinery/oil and gas field.
Experts and Skills:
- Excellent Command of oral and written English Language.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of refinery.
- Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.
- Working under pressure and ability to resolve problems.
- Proactive Safety aptitude and behaviour.
