Department: Environmental Projects / Air Quality Post Reports

To: Company Director / ExCom

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Engineer to lead our Air Quality Department. This leadership role involves leading a team of professionals, overseeing compliance with air quality regulations, developing emission reduction strategies, and working closely with regulatory agencies, monitoring authorities, clients, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and leadership capability to drive our environmental services ahead.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Lead and manage the Air Quality Department, including engineers, scientists, and technical staff.

Oversee permitting, emissions modeling, monitoring, and reporting in compliance with local regulations.

Develop and implement air quality management plans and pollution control strategies.

Ensure timely completion of regulatory submittals, reports, and greenhouse gas emission reports.

Conduct or supervise air dispersion modeling software for facility sitting, permitting, monitoring and risk assessments.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams on environmental impact assessments.

Stay current on emissions and air quality regulations and advise management on compliance risks and opportunities.

Build and maintain relationships with regulatory and monitoring agencies (NCEC, Saudi Aramco, RCJY, KACST) and represent the company in public events or stakeholder meetings.

Mentor junior staff and lead technical training and professional development within the team.

Contribute to budget planning, resource allocation, and strategic planning for environmental projects.


Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Environmental Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in air quality engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.

Bilingual, Arabic – English.

Proficient in air modeling software and GIS tools.

Excellent project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.

Skills & Abilities :

Strong knowledge of air quality regulations, permitting processes, and emissions control technologies.

Familiarity with ESG reporting and sustainability metrics.

Experience working with environmental management systems (EMS) and ISO 14001.
