A leading company in the pharmaceutical sector seeks an IT professional to support SAP systems and enhance application solutions. The role involves collaboration with global teams, operational support, and documentation creation. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree or extensive experience in SAP, with strong project management and analytical skills.
Job Purpose
Partners with the global IT team and the client community to support IT systems utilizing underlying technology solutions that align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, productivity improvements, and process enhancements.
Responsibilities
Focus on system support, process support, and project management. Collaborate with project teams from business and IT to translate detailed requirements and specifications into new or improved application solutions.
Participate in regional and global initiatives, leading local implementations within assigned business areas.
Key Accountabilities
Operational support of SAP and other platforms to facilitate processes, advise on best practices, and communicate business needs.
Support, maintain, and enhance SAP ATTP to meet evolving business requirements.
Create system documentation, including functional specifications.
Support integration of ATTP solutions with ECC, other SAP modules (SD, MM, WM, etc.), RFID hardware, and proprietary systems.
Provide guidance on business implications of application development and enhancements.
Apply strong knowledge of business processes influencing SAP development and testing, especially in manufacturing, logistics, and track and trace.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or 3+ years of relevant technical experience. Technical certifications preferred.
Experience
Minimum: 3 to 5 years experience with SAP systems.
Preferred: Experience with SAP Trace and Trace modules (ATTP, ICH) across the system lifecycle.
Skills
Strong functional, technical, and project management skills.
Excellent documentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Solid knowledge of application system lifecycle and supporting documentation.
Experience supporting RF applications in warehouse or production environments.
Experience with Application Link Enabling (ALE) technologies, message configuration (ASN, Shipping requests, Goods Movements) using IDOC/XML.
Knowledge of GS1 standards, EPCIS, GS1 barcodes, and serialization regulations (DSCSA, EMVO, Saudi Arabia).
Understanding of supply chain and logistics processes.
Ability to work effectively in a global cross-functional team.
Good understanding of validated or quality systems.
Excellent judgment, customer interaction, verbal and written communication skills.
