Reporting to: Senior Manager: Business Change Management & Client Application

Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Analyst to lead and support the end-to-end integration of customer solutions within the Middle East Region. This role focuses on establishing and optimizing connectivity through EDI/API integrations, ensuring technical readiness and seamless operational alignment. The position acts as a bridge between commercial, operational, and IT teams, serving as the primary business representative during customer onboarding and system integration projects. Key responsibilities include managing customer onboarding, utilizing customer visibility platforms, driving continuous improvement, and overseeing change management activities. Regional travel and collaboration across the global network, cross-functional divisions, and with Commercial Management are required for successful implementation and reimplementation of customer solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Integration Support:
  • Serve as the primary contact for local business and sales teams regarding customer integration and adjustment requests.
  • Support tender/RFQ processes from a business integration perspective.
  • Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
    • Collect and validate documentation from customers, including MIGs, sample EDI/XML files, XSD schemas, and operational process outlines.
  • Project Kickoff & Alignment:
    • Initiate projects with Business Request Forms (BRFs).
    • Collaborate with IT and integration teams to support creation and finalization of the Customer Scope Document (CSD).
    • Drive customer review and sign-off of the CSD before development begins.
  • Test Planning & Execution:
    • Define test scenarios and create reference shipments for message flows.
    • Support the creation and review of BRDs and EDI specifications.
    • Approve BRDs before development to ensure operational alignment.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Participate in planning with internal stakeholders.
    • Secure approvals and ensure stakeholder alignment with project timelines.
  • Testing & Go-Live Support:
    • Support testing phases and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
    • Obtain customer sign-off on UAT and maintain logs.
  • Training & Process Enablement:
    • Ensure processes and work instructions are in place and understood.
    • Facilitate training sessions post-implementation.
  • Hypercare & Post-Go-Live Support:
    • Lead hypercare meetings and monitor issues via Action Trackers.
    • Log and manage technical issues and incidents.
    • Act as the primary contact during hypercare, providing troubleshooting and guidance.

    Skills:

    • Project Management: Proficiency in planning, execution, and managing multiple projects.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, confident presentation abilities.
    • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
    • Technical Skills: Knowledge of EDI/API integration platforms, project management tools.
    • Customer Service: Strong engagement and relationship management skills.

    System Landscape (core applications support):

    • Cargowise One or similar TMS, EDI and API technologies, Purchase Order Management Systems, Customer Visibility platforms, Power BI/data visualization tools.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field.
    • 3–5 years in business implementation, project coordination, or systems integration.
    • Deep knowledge of EDI/API technologies and applications.
    • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams.
    • Customer-focused with ownership and accountability.
    • Certifications in LEAN, Sigma, Project Management are advantageous.
    • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL/4PL, or related software integration is preferred.
