About the role

The Vendor Manager role at Exclusive Networks is critical for managing select vendor relationships and overseeing daily revenue and profit targets. The role involves developing new business opportunities through existing and new GTM channels.

As a Vendor Manager - Nutanix, your responsibilities include:

  1. Developing a strong understanding of the vendor, their business, and strategic objectives.
  2. Aligning with key vendor stakeholders and acting as their primary contact within Exclusive Networks.
  3. Focusing on GTM opportunities and understanding how Exclusive Networks can grow its business with the vendor.
  4. Managing vendor governance activities such as QBRs, peer networking, business planning, and reporting.
  5. Understanding the vendor landscape to identify where the vendor complements or competes, and working with stakeholders to design solutions accordingly.
  6. Achieving individual and team targets based on profit requirements.
  7. Collaborating with internal and external sales teams to develop Cloud and DC business, including:
  • Recruiting, enabling, and driving new resellers.
  • Promoting Exclusive Networks' GTM message.
  • Developing end-user lead generation programs with resellers.
  • Implementing sales and technical training programs.
  • Producing weekly sales forecasts and conducting quarterly business reviews.

General skills and attributes include:

  • Ability to build and nurture relationships internally, within the vendor, and with partners.
  • Effective communication of Exclusive Networks' message to key stakeholders.
  • Drive and determination to seek new opportunities, nurture pipelines, and close deals.
  • Coordination with internal departments like Operations, sales, and technical consultants to meet customer needs, including arranging demonstrations, quotes, logistics, and managing customer risks.

Qualifications and experience

About you:

  • At least 2 years’ experience in Sales, Product Specialist, or Vendor Management roles.
  • Experience in end-user sales, partner and business development, pipeline management, and deal closing.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity landscape, especially Vulnerability Risk Management technologies.

Essential skills include:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an external-facing role.
  • Recent success working with partners and end users.
  • Highly motivated with a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the IT channel and distribution challenges.
  • Target-oriented with experience presenting to senior contacts.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
