Duties and Responsibilities

As the Bar- Beverage Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of the Food & Beverage department to provide exceptional products and services within brand standards. The duties include:

  1. Managing all aspects of beverage outlets daily and coordinating special events.
  2. Achieving budgeted revenues, controlling expenses and labor costs, and maximizing profitability.
  3. Assisting in preparing the annual operating budget aligned with the outlet’s objectives.
  4. Maintaining procedures for inventory security, proper storage, and financial transaction security.
  5. Establishing purchasing practices that support Six Senses' nutrition and sustainability platforms.
  6. Instilling a cost-focused philosophy through training and education.
  7. Ensuring legal, statutory, and financial compliance, along with safety protocols and reporting systems.
  8. Providing courteous and attentive guest service.
  9. Knowing the preparation, ingredients, and presentation of all drinks on the menu.
  10. Being familiar with all outlet menus (food and wine) and daily F&B activities.
Qualifications

To qualify for the role of Bar-Beverage Manager, candidates should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar luxury hotel setting.
  • A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Experience in cocktail-making and beverage service.
  • A valid health/food handler card as required by local regulations.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
