About the Role:
This Executive will be part of a growing sales team dedicated to expanding our customer reach. The main responsibility is to grow their designated market to meet Trella's targets and vision.
What You'll Do:
- Identify prospective customers, generate leads, and convert them into clients.
- Manage and grow client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Visit adjacent markets within the designated territory to identify opportunities.
- Drive business growth and expansion in the assigned territory.
- Manage sales team performance based on KPIs like lead generation and opportunity conversion.
- Achieve personal and team targets collaboratively.
- Engage with new and existing customers for onboarding and opportunity development.
- Meet targets set by Commercial Management.
- Highlight product features to demonstrate how they solve customer problems.
- Respond to customer inquiries about Trella's products and services.
- Negotiate prices and terms, and prepare sales agreements.
- Collaborate across different sectors within the company.
- Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to sustain relationships.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening and addressing customer needs.
- Work with sales management and operations to strategize and implement best practices.
- Update CRM daily and prepare weekly reports for Sales Management.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in a commercial environment, with at least 3 years in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Experience in selling containerized land transportation is preferred.
- Knowledge of import/export, port operations, shipping, and customs clearance is a plus.
- Customer-centric, process-driven, and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Good presentation skills; a demo may be required.
- Strong sales mindset and ability to build partnerships.
- Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience with Salesforce, Pipedrive, and other sales tools.
