Credit Manager

Provide supervision and guidance for credit analysts, review home and land finance files and make funding eligibility decisions.

Major responsibilities of this position:

1. Conduct final Reviews on home finance files in accordance with SHL’s established credit policy, criteria and procedures.
2. Analyze financial statements for self-employed applicants and business owners.
3. Analyze property valuations.
4. Ensure established compliance standards are met.
5. Detect fraudulent documentation or actions and report issues to the Head of Credit.
6. Identify and present credit exceptions, Prepare monthly exceptions report.
7. Ensure targeted credit pipeline units levels are not exceeded.
8. Monitors credit pipeline & ensure turnaround time are not exceeded.
9. Train credit analysts and discuss credit decisions with SHL, DAAR & ANB personnel.
10. Work closely with other departments to achieve SHL’s goals and objectives.
11. Suggest and help implement workflow improvements to increase efficiency.
12. Review Sales proposed campaigns and ensure its compatibility with the credit guidelines.
13. Help Sales to achieve their targets.
14. Train the Sales staff for proper documentation.
15. Conduct portfolio analysis & report any policy defects or weaknesses.
16. Design new MIS & quality monitoring reports.
17. Report any required system enhancements or gaps.
18. Conduct Process Gap Analysis.
19. Design & update the credit capacity plan, and monitor capacity monthly.
20. Perform and carry out duties as directed by the direct manager.

Job Skills:
3+ years in credit management in banking and/or financial services with 2+ years of credit analysis experience. Specialization in home financing preferred. Proven skill in financial statement analysis. Previous experience in KSA market.
University degree in Business or Finance.

Systems Used:
Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, iFlex/DBLS preferred

Fluent in English and Arabic.
