Job Title: General Manager
Location: Saudi Arabia
Reports to: Regional Sales Director
Industry: Manufacturing Construction Products (HVAC, Rubber Products, Adhesive Tapes, Thermal Insulation Foams)



Company Overview:



Our client is a leading UAE-based manufacturing company with over 40 years of industry presence. They specialise in products for the construction sector, including HVAC solutions, rubber products, adhesive tapes, and thermal insulation foams.



Position Summary:



The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving the growth of the companys operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate is an experienced strategic leader with a mechanical engineering background, in-depth knowledge of the Saudi market, and proven connections with MEP contractors and consultants. This role encompasses full P&L responsibility, operational leadership, legal compliance, and team management.



Key Responsibilities:



Strategic Leadership:



  • Develop and execute strategic plans aligned with the companys goals.
  • Identify growth opportunities and lead initiatives to increase market share.

Operational Management:



  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Implement operational policies and manage production processes.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and cost standards.

Financial Oversight:



  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Analyze financial statements and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Achieve or exceed financial performance targets.

Compliance and Legal:



  • Ensure compliance with all Saudi laws and regulations.
  • Liaise with government and regulatory bodies.
  • Oversee legal matters related to operations in the region.

Business Development:



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with MEP contractors and consultants.
  • Lead new business acquisition and tendering efforts.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.

Team Leadership:



  • Lead, coach, and develop the local team.
  • Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance reviews and facilitate staff training.

Customer Relationship Management:



  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer issues effectively and promptly.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in a senior managerial role within Saudi Arabia.
  • Extensive experience managing operations, finance, legal, and business development.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent network with MEP contractors and consultants.
  • Experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
  • Fluent in Arabic and proficient in English.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
