Job Summary:
We're seeking a creative, skilled, and proactive YouTube Videographer to join our content production team. This role is essential in capturing high-quality video content including vlogs, interviews, tutorials, and more for our YouTube channel(s). The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, a creative eye, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production: Film high-quality YouTube content, ensuring professional execution of lighting, framing, and sound.
- Pre-Production Support: Assist in planning shoots, including location scouting, shot list creation, and equipment preparation.
- Equipment Operation & Maintenance: Operate, transport, and maintain cameras, lighting rigs, microphones, and other production tools.
- On-Set Direction: Provide clear guidance to content creators on camera presence, movement, and delivery to enhance visual storytelling.
- Collaboration: Work closely with editors, producers, and creators to align production with brand tone, style, and objectives.
- Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current YouTube trends, videography techniques, and platform best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.
- File & Data Management: Ensure all raw footage is properly organized, backed up, and delivered for post-production.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues during shoots to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a videographer, preferably for YouTube or digital content platforms.
- Proficient with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and audio gear.
- Strong understanding of composition, camera operation, and lighting techniques.
- Ability to direct on-camera talent and communicate effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of YouTube content standards and evolving platform trends.
- Bonus: Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Must be comfortable working on-location or in studio environments.
- May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends depending on shoot schedules.
