As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will help shape the future of digitally native customers by partnering with AWS teams to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address business challenges and promote AWS adoption.

Collaborating with sales, you will drive revenue growth, act as a trusted customer advocate, and assist organizations in understanding best practices for cloud solutions and workload migration. You will also help develop and execute strategies to increase AWS usage and awareness.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting, and capable of linking technology to measurable business value. Strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges is essential.

About AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS)

SMGS is responsible for revenue, adoption, and growth across small to enterprise customers, including public sector clients.

Key job responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy and Customer Relationship: Build and migrate applications on AWS, formulate sales strategies to exceed revenue goals, and maintain technical relationships with customers, advising on security, cost, performance, and operational efficiency.
2. Customer Education and Architectural Guidance: Educate customers on AWS value, participate in architectural discussions, and ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment.
3. Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions and share best practices within the AWS solutions architect community.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, security, networking, or data analytics
• 3+ years in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting
• 10+ years in IT development or consulting within the software or internet industries
• Fluency in English and Arabic

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years in infrastructure and database architecture and networking
• Experience with cloud migration and modernization
• Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities
