Job Description
  1. Specialty: Civil Engineering
  2. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  3. Analysis: Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and drawings to determine material and labor costs.
  4. Budget Preparation: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring estimates align with client expectations and project goals.
  5. Quantity Takeoffs: Perform quantity takeoffs to accurately assess materials required for MEP installations.
  6. Bid Preparation: Assist in preparing bids, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to gather information.
  7. Market Research: Conduct research on material costs, labor rates, and industry trends to ensure competitive estimates.
    • Identify potential risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documents.
  9. Review & Adjustments: Review and update estimates based on project changes or new information.
  10. Client Communication: Communicate with clients regarding estimates, scope changes, and budget impacts.
