Job description

Activities and Responsibilities:

• Ensure finished products and assemblies meet required regulatory and organizational standards.
• Conduct daily inspection and reporting activities.
• Work in accordance with ARM QMS and HSE procedures and policies.
• Support workshop foreman in monitoring, identification, and traceability processes.
• Perform timely incoming inspections (materials, steel structures, capital equipment, mechanical parts).
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), Router, drawings, and quality instructions in the shops.
• Prepare required inspection reports.
• Monitor and maintain calibration of measurement instruments/equipment.
• Create Non-conformance Reports (NCRs) when required, and mark and isolate nonconforming products/parts.
• Re-inspect nonconforming products/parts after repair/rework.
• Perform duties as required by shop supervisors and based on job priorities.
• Participate in internal and external audits.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Function/Purpose:

Perform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations, including visual, dimensional, and functional tests. Make critical observations, conduct tests, and document findings as required.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Knowledge of oil & gas drilling equipment.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Diploma and/or at least 3 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
• Good understanding of regulatory and organizational standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand material specifications and requirements.
• Proficiency in using inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills; fluent in English.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and accurate in work assignments.
