Core Responsibilities
  1. Provides management information and insights on all dimensions of work area performance to facilitate discussion and decision making, both on a periodic basis and for ad-hoc management requests.
  2. Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  3. Reviews contracts signed by customers and books those contracts on internal systems as per policy.
  4. Estimates the type and amount of materials necessary to deliver the contract against the tender specifications.
  5. Reviews the project specification and identifies the source of supply from Otis factories.
  6. Coordinates with different teams within Otis (factories, sales teams, design engineers, etc.) to gather relevant cost information for technical and commercial requirements of a sales pitch.
  7. Prepares estimation price lists including material cost, manpower hours, duties, fees, tools, transportation, and other requirements as per project conditions and Otis procedures.
  8. Calculates the margin and safe buffer to build a lucrative sales proposition.
  9. Orders the release of material as per approved drawings.
  10. Maintains salesman records and contracting activities through E-Logistic tool.
  11. Records and archives all contract terms and conditions as per defined process.
  12. Reviews key reports monthly to identify trends or metrics requiring further analysis.
  13. Defines performance goals at the start of the year with the reporting manager and ensures achievement of these goals.
  14. Identifies training and development needs for self and arranges for them with the reporting manager.
  15. Strives to achieve high proficiency in all role competencies and skills.
  16. Keeps updated on professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sales, or equivalent.
  • Relevant certification such as Certified Sales Associate (CSA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in sales operations within a construction/engineering organization.
  • At least 2 years in progressively responsible positions.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English; Arabic is preferred.
