Overview

We are seeking a Contracts Advisor to join our Western Region Manufacturing Business Support Division (WRMBSD).

WRMBSD handles planning, procurement, and administration of service contracts across our Western Region Manufacturing facilities.

Your primary role will involve working with our contracting team on the planning, procurement, and management of Short Form Procurement Agreements (SFPA), Master Services Agreements, and Long Form Procurement Agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to the Contracts Procurement & Administration team.
  • Develop guidelines, coordinate activities, and offer technical expertise to ensure effective contract planning, procurement, and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate contracting policies and procedures, supporting operational needs efficiently.
  • Manage over 50 contracts and amendments, including cancellations and superseding agreements.
  • Offer guidance and solutions to proponents and contractors regarding contract administration, extensions, renewals, and terminations.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate procurement processes, contractor mobilization, and dispute resolution.
  • Negotiate contract terms, develop scope of services, and clarify contractual provisions.
  • Contribute to engineering and financial feasibility studies for contract services.
  • Participate in risk analysis and evaluate technical qualifications of bidders.
Minimum Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 12 years of experience in hydrocarbons or related industries, with knowledge of refinery, NGL, or petrochemical operations, maintenance, and service contracts.
  • Experience managing multiple contracts across regions and stakeholders, including interaction with senior management, is preferred.
