About The Role
As a Project Planner, you will oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure the successful delivery of Baggage Handling System projects. Your responsibilities include creating quotations and project schedules in collaboration with stakeholders and technical teams, monitoring project progress, identifying deviations, and discussing solutions with stakeholders, as well as researching and developing alternative plans with the project team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project planning functions, including
- Preparation of quotations and detailed project master schedules.
- Creation of manpower histograms and progress measurement systems.
- Establishment of logical relationships between activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor critical path logic networks, float paths throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and addressing potential risks and delays.
- Provide high-level project plans (level 2 or 3) to technical departments as needed.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly updates, and project monitoring dashboards.
- Present progress status at meetings.
- Monitor actual data against planned units, track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as CPI, SPI, and other EVM metrics, and present findings visually.
- Maintain and update a project delay register, conduct delay analysis, and prepare reports and evidence for potential claims.
- Contribute to invoicing and cost forecasting based on latest planning updates.

Desired Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in planning functions, including at least 7 years handling large projects. Preference for candidates with hands-on experience in automated material handling or baggage handling system projects. Training will be provided if no related experience.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Excel.
- Knowledge in project management, scheduling, claims, and planning reports. Certifications like PSP, APE (or equivalent) are preferred.
- Basic knowledge of supply chain and shipping procedures is advantageous.
- Proven achievement in planning EPC projects.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation processes, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.

Travel
- This role may require travel to project sites for execution and support. Candidates should be prepared for travel, which will vary based on project needs and locations.
