Are you passionate about technical projects and leading technical teams on site? Do you have strong organizational and problem-solving skills? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Installation Senior Project Engineering role.

This role necessitates a significant presence on project sites, with approximately 60-70% of your time dedicated to field activities such as overseeing installations and coordinating with stakeholders. The remaining 30-40% will be spent in the office on tasks including planning, managing project timelines, budgets, and communication

You don’t need prior experience in the commercial kitchen equipment industry, as long as you have transferable skills and expertise from other technical fields. Raqtan provides comprehensive commercial kitchen solutions for both hotel projects and F&B outlets across the hospitality sector. Our scope of work encompasses detailed consultation, custom kitchen design, and full engineering services. We specialize in the supply and installation of complete commercial kitchen equipment packages, including coldrooms, water filtration systems, and custom stainless steel fabrications. Our technical team handles all aspects of installation, testing, and commissioning of commercial kitchen equipment to ensure optimal performance. With end-to-end project management capabilities, we deliver turnkey commercial kitchen solutions that meet the exacting standards of high-end hospitality establishments, handling everything from initial planning through final implementation.

Responsibilities.

• Ensure the smooth coordination of field activities, including rough-in inspections and measurements, with contractors, customers, and stakeholders.
• Review equipment releases, approve shop drawings for custom/fabrication items, purchase orders, color selections, and utility information to release equipment timely, accurately, and within budget.
• Manage change orders by providing change proposals, RFI's and review bulletins for any required changes to equipment, coordinate changes in the field with contractor and other impacted trades.
• Review design documents for accuracy and proposal compliance
• Support estimating and sales efforts for new projects; Provide pre-bid inspections, project meetings, scope reviews, and site inspections.
• Coordinate warranty calls and installation issues after turn-over of project for warranty period.
• Ensure a smooth handover from Sales to Projects and then from Projects to Client.
• Create clear documentation to support your handover from projects to support Deliver solutions on time and in budget
• Escalate and resolve service affecting issues that arise promptly.
• Ensure the provisioning and administration is well controlled and delivered within agreed timescales.

Required Qualifications

• Min 2+ years on site Project Management Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering
• prior experience working closely with Project Managers on budget
• Demonstrated ability to estimate on-site personnel requirements
• A strong sense of initiative and a proactive drive to ensure project success, even in the face of obstacles
• Ability to oversee and coordinate the completion of projects within the defined scope, budget, and timeline
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with project planning software (MS Project, Project 365, Primavera P6) is a plus
• Prior experience on engineer software, (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, etc.) is a plus.
• Prior experience in commercial kitchen equipment projects is advantageous.
