We are currently seeking Data Scientists (Junior to Senior levels) on behalf of one of our clients in the insurance sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and data-driven insurance company based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where you’ll contribute to impactful projects in pricing, claims, risk, and digital transformation.

Position: Data Scientist (Junior/Senior)

Key Responsibilities

For Junior profiles:

• Support the development of machine learning models to improve pricing, underwriting, and claims operations.
• Clean, prepare, and analyze insurance datasets from internal systems.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate actionable insights.
• Build predictive models using Python, R, or similar tools under guidance.
• Document processes and contribute to model deployment with the technical team.

For Senior profiles:

• Design, lead, and deploy advanced AI/ML models tailored to core insurance functions.
• Supervise junior data scientists and ensure model quality and explainability.
• Drive collaboration between data, actuarial, underwriting, and IT teams.
• Ensure compliance with SAMA regulations and data governance best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
• For junior level: 1–2 years of experience (internships included) in data science or analytics.
• For senior level: 5+ years of experience, including model deployment and team leadership.
• Strong skills in Python, SQL, and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Familiarity with insurance data and regulatory environments (SAMA) is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
