About the job

The Education team is seeking an Education Account Executive responsible for direct sales of learning and development products and services to prospective and current accounts to achieve sales targets. This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a hybrid work approach.

As an Education Account Executive, you will:

  1. Sell training products and solutions to current and prospective customers, collaborating with education personnel to identify and leverage sales opportunities to acquire, grow, and retain customers within your territory.
  2. Work closely with new and existing customers, Software Sales Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, and/or Consulting teams to determine training needs and advise on suitable solutions.
  3. Manage territory and account development, identify high-potential opportunities, qualify leads, forecast timelines, and use SAS’s global sales system for tracking.
  4. Proactively propose solutions demonstrating how SAS training offerings can deliver business value and address critical challenges, assisting customers in assessing their Talent Development needs.
  5. Use your consultative skills to manage the sales process from discovery to close successfully.
  6. Coordinate with training colleagues to respond promptly to high-revenue, high-satisfaction leads.
  7. Collaborate across SAS lines of business to promote adoption and skills development among customers.
  8. Prepare quotations and proposals, coordinate with other departments to finalize contracts, and set service schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in software sales is essential; experience in selling software training is advantageous.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and understanding of hardware/software acquisition cycles and buying influences.
  • Ability to analyze territory dynamics and develop effective sales plans.
  • Strong communication skills to relate technical and business concepts to SAS applications and user needs; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
