YASREF Company Overview

The Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) Ltd., a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and China Petrochemical Corporation (Sinopec), is a world-class, full-conversion refinery located in Yanbu Industrial City. Covering approximately 5.2 million square meters, it is a key project in Yanbu, utilizing 400,000 barrels per day (bpd) of Arabian heavy crude oil to produce premium transportation fuels and high-value refined products for international and domestic markets.

YASREF enhances Saudi Aramco's downstream portfolio and strengthens its strategic partnership with Sinopec, Saudi Aramco’s largest crude oil partner and buyer. Both companies contribute their technical and commercial expertise to boost the trade of transportation fuels between a major energy producer and consumer.

This venture also represents a strategic move by Saudi Aramco and Sinopec to expand further downstream, capturing additional value along the hydrocarbon chain.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Operations Engineering Superintendent with regulating operational activities in the refinery, ensuring compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Conservation procedures, aligned with YASREF strategies and operational priorities such as profit, safety, reliability, and environmental standards.
