Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Administrative Assistant with prior experience in a healthcare or medical environment. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day administrative tasks, ensure accurate documentation, and coordinate between departments to maintain smooth healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to medical or clinical teams, including scheduling, document preparation, and correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize patient records, files, and sensitive information in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Coordinate internal and external communication between healthcare departments, patients, and vendors.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and spreadsheets as requested by supervisors or healthcare staff.
  • Handle procurement requests, inventory tracking, and administrative supply management for healthcare units.
  • Arrange meetings, appointments, and conference calls for medical and administrative teams.
  • Support HR or recruitment activities related to medical staffing as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal healthcare policies and ministry of health guidelines.
  • Assist in processing insurance claims or patient billing records if required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of administrative experience in a hospital, clinic, or healthcare company.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare workflows is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with healthcare systems (e.g., HIS, EMR) is a plus.
