Key Responsibilities
- Operational Readiness Planning:
- Develop and implement the site-based operational readiness plan in alignment with project schedules and operations requirements.
- Establish readiness milestones and KPIs to track progress toward operational acceptance.
- Interface Management:
- Act as the interface between project delivery teams (engineering, construction, commissioning) and the operations organization.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition to operational control.
- Systems & Procedures:
- Ensure development and delivery of operational procedures, maintenance strategies, safety case documentation, and asset integrity plans.
- Aid the establishment of systems (CMMS, ERP integration, etc.) and infrastructure required for operations.
- Training & Proficiency:
- Oversee the delivery of training programs for operations and maintenance staff.
- Validate readiness of personnel through Proficiency assessments and pre-startup drills.
- Risk Management & Assurance:
- Identify risks to operational readiness and implement mitigation plans.
- Spearhead readiness reviews, audits, and pre-startup safety reviews (PSSR).
- Handover & Start-Up Assistance:
- Define acceptance criteria and manage phased handover of systems from construction.
- Assist operations during initial start-up, ensuring smooth ramp-up and safe operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant technical discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.).
- Experience in oil and gas operations or project delivery, including operational readiness or management role.
- Mastery of asset lifecycle, maintenance planning, and safety management systems.
- Experience working in large-scale EPC/EPCM projects and remote or offshore environments is a plus.
