- Familiarity with international codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day project activities and assist the Project Manager in achieving project targets and objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate the downstream project team.
- Review design packages at each phase until issuance of IFC drawings and MTOs; verify quantities.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Procurement departments for follow-up and resolution to facilitate construction.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate technical aspects of the project with relevant managers.
- Resolve construction issues by preparing technical queries in coordination with the Project Manager, Engineering Department, and Construction Team.
- Participate in client and contractor meetings; prepare Minutes of Meeting (MoMs).
- Prepare and review daily/weekly progress reports and two-week look-ahead plans; report to Construction and Project Managers.
- Draft and address project letters to various stakeholders fluently.
- Monitor and control subcontractors' daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to QHSE requirements.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with the project quality plan.
- Anticipate client requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite project activities, including planning, scheduling, control, resource management, procurement, construction, subcontractor management, and QHSE compliance.
- Coordinate and lead the project team through all phases of execution.
- Manage project administration, mechanisms, and control processes.
- Maintain awareness of interdependencies with other projects and stakeholders.
- Identify and obtain support and advice for project management, planning, and control.
- Conduct periodic project evaluations and recommend follow-up actions.
- Supervise selection of tools, materials, and equipment; establish inventory tracking.
- Review daily work progress and prepare internal and external status reports.
- Plan ahead (monthly, weekly) to prevent and resolve problems.
- Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
- Ensure contractual performance conditions are met.
- Coordinate with QHSE to ensure compliance with standards.
- Lead the project team across all phases of execution.
- Manage project administration, including mechanisms, monitoring, and control.
- Identify potential interdependencies and their impacts.
