Job Title: Project Controls Manager
Role Overview:

The Project Controls Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing planning, cost control, risk management, document control, and overall project controls for construction projects from the contractor’s side. This role ensures adherence to schedules, budgets, and risk management frameworks, while maintaining compliance with documentation standards and contractual obligations. The manager supervises dedicated teams, monitors cash flow, coordinates with the supply chain, and facilitates reporting and performance management throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership: Lead and supervise the planning, cost control, risk management, and document control teams.
  2. Standards and Processes: Develop and implement standards, processes, and tools to ensure seamless integration across functions.
  3. Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
  4. Planning & Progress Monitoring: Develop and maintain the project baseline schedule, monitor progress, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation strategies. Ensure timely progress reporting.
  5. Cost Control: Oversee project budgeting, monitor costs versus budget, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions. Update cash flow forecasts regularly.
  6. Risk Management: Develop and maintain a risk management framework, lead risk assessments, and collaborate with stakeholders on mitigation strategies.
