A Snapshot of Your Day

The principal responsibility of this position as a Cost Manager is to perform cost estimating functions for equipment packaged in Dammam and sold based on customer specifications. The role reports to the Head of Cost Estimation & Planning CEP. It requires coordination and interaction across Bid Management, Procurement, Production, Engineering, Finance, and Project Management, mainly within KSA and partially internationally.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Estimate product line costing: interpret scope, build estimates using in-house tools, cost books, experience data, and calculate a complete and accurate cost of components and assemblies for projects in Dammam.
• Align costing of all involved parties on a project basis and optimize the cost position through cost review and cost-out meetings.
• Develop, create, and monitor model configurations; update data and maintain templates with current costs and applicable tools in Dammam.
• Collaborate with Bid Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Manufacturing departments to gather feedback for building estimates and updating cost models.
• Audit and analyze actual costs versus estimated costs to identify variances, initiate corrective actions, and implement lessons learned.
• Manage multiple proposal cost estimates concurrently.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Finance/Accounting; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the Oil & Gas industry, ideally in Bid Management or Operations of the Rotating Equipment Industry; product knowledge of Turbo Compressors and understanding of technical and commercial requirements.
• Strong interest and experience in the costing/pricing process during the pre-order stage, supported by experience with costing tools.
• Motivated, detail-oriented, with a drive to accomplish tasks with high quality and timeliness.
• Advanced proficiency in Office applications.
• Proactive, hands-on, economical thinking, and a strong commitment to providing excellent project support and continuous improvement.
• Collaborative approach and ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
