Job summary

A leading company in the construction and civil engineering industry is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in power system components. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in power transmission and distribution substations, along with good knowledge in electrical systems and client representation skills. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects in the Eastern Province.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in power system components within power transmission and distribution substations.

Responsibilities

• Good knowledge in LCC panels schematics and related functional checks.
• Expertise in live substation work is an advantage.

Job description

• Good knowledge in power electrical systems up to EHV levels.
• Good knowledge in LCC panels schematics and related functional checks.
• Familiar with testing of power system components and equipment commissioning (transformers, reactors, cables, etc.)
• Expertise in live substation work is an advantage
• Familiar with DC & AC auxiliary systems.
• Good representation skills with clients for all commissioning scope (coordination, approvals, meetings, planning, etc.)
• Gulf experience is preferable.
