The Account Manager is responsible for A and B account management, serving as the primary contact to grow sales of consumables and services through account planning, cross-functional collaboration, and product & application knowledge. The role involves managing account relationships to achieve annual growth objectives, conveying Pall’s value to foster long-term customer relationships, and utilizing sales tools and processes to support growth. This position requires travel across Saudi Arabia and mentoring junior sales team members, with potential for growth.
Reporting to the Country Sales Manager, this role is part of the Energy + Sales department, focused on direct sales, and is based on-site in Saudi Arabia.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed targets, expanding market share in existing accounts by building strong relationships with end-users and management.
• Provide technical support leveraging specialists to develop solutions that exceed customer expectations.
• Lead cross-functional teams to develop strategies that address customer needs and secure sales opportunities.
• Present and demonstrate Pall’s technologies within customer processes, collaborating with sales and specialists.
• Maintain a strong customer presence with regular high-level interactions, developing detailed customer profiles and insights to inform commercial strategies.
• Use sophisticated sales tools to support growth objectives.
The essential requirements include:
• 5+ years of experience in providing products/services to the Refinery, Oil & Gas, Chemical, or Industrial sectors, or equivalent engineering experience interested in transitioning to technical sales.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (mechanical/chemical engineering, chemistry, biological sciences, or related).
• Experience in filtration and separation industries is desirable.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, with excellent communication, negotiation, and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and culture.
• Ability to travel 50%, hold a valid Saudi driver’s license, and meet physical requirements.
It would be a plus if you also possess:
• Strong understanding of customer needs and sales processes, with experience managing sales funnels and strategic large account sales.
• Experience in networking and pursuing new prospects to meet KPIs.
