About The Role

The Account Manager (AM) provides daily account management, clinical product support, and education for assigned accounts within a specific territory or region. The AM's objectives focus on leveraging opportunities to drive sales growth for the Endo Bariatric and Legacy product portfolio, aligning with Boston Scientific's Endoscopy divisional strategy. Responsibilities include providing product use training during procedures, ensuring sales contract compliance, achieving sales targets, maintaining product availability, identifying new case opportunities, and delivering product training at the account level.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
  1. Supporting the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in developing annual strategic plans by providing detailed business intelligence on accounts, including market size, trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
  2. Assisting RSMs in understanding each account's unmet needs to facilitate strategy development and product launches.
  3. Supporting medical personnel and field staff during procedures after proper training, promoting the BSC Endo Bariatric and Legacy endoscopy product range.
  4. Acting as the first point of contact for healthcare professionals.
  5. Identifying and managing sales opportunities through clinical support and supporting clinical selling efforts.
  6. Providing education and training support for external customers, end users, and internal colleagues as appropriate.
  7. Maintaining market share by delivering excellent product servicing, evaluations, and ongoing procedural education.
  8. Participating actively in customer, company, and industry events with a strategic focus.
  9. Leading sales efforts in non-strategic accounts and collaborating with RSMs on strategic accounts, including gathering information on tenders and negotiations.
  10. Developing and executing proactive plans involving all relevant functions to enhance customer service quality.
  11. Performing procedural training, clinical support, and therapy development, managing clinical evaluations to ensure market share growth.
  12. Providing periodic updates to the Sales Force and Commercial Contracting organization.
What Are We Looking For In You
  • Experience in commercial sales of Medical Devices or Medical Technology.
  • Experience with endoscopy products is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Comfort working in acute intervention settings and assisting with procedures.
  • Proactive, innovative team player who can work independently.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Willingness to work in a field environment (80%) and office (20%), with a passion for travel.
  • A relevant scientific degree or healthcare qualification is beneficial.
