Department Information

The Department of Radiology at our client hospital in Jeddah has 6 radiologists on staff. Services include General Radiography (x-ray), CT / MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, and Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD). The hospital is among the few in the Kingdom performing interventional procedures such as angiography with coiling, stenting, and embolization.

The Radiology Department participates in the Saudi Board joint program in the western region. It receives rotating residents from various programs, providing experience across different subspecialties.

The physicians frequently visit international centers, with several presentations annually within the city, country, and Gulf Region. Attendance at international meetings for CME accreditation is encouraged, supporting staff participation in local and international symposiums.

On average, the department conducts approximately 6,000 examinations per month, including about 700 CT cases.
