Job description

Join Us as an HVAC Chiller Technician at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel) We are seeking an experienced and proactive HVAC Chiller Technician to join our team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel) This role involves the maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC and chiller systems to ensure optimal climate control throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate, monitor, maintain, and repair all HVAC systems, including chillers, air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), ventilation fans, exhaust systems, and pumps.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) on HVAC and chiller equipment as per hotel standards and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in HVAC systems, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, VFDs, sensors, and thermostats.
  • Monitor chiller plant operations, including temperature, pressure, and refrigerant levels, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Maintain and adjust building management system (BMS) parameters for optimal performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and refrigerant usage logs.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints or maintenance requests related to temperature control and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or technical certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in HVAC/chiller maintenance, preferably in a hotel or large facility environment.
  • Strong knowledge of centrifugal, screw, or absorption chillers and cooling towers.
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and ability to adjust or monitor parameters.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Physically fit and willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call duties.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
