Job Purpose

Performs complex inspections and works on difficult quality problems at a site or manufacturing plant - often in collaboration with an Engineer.

Job Description
  1. Performs critical inspections to evaluate and analyze difficult quality problems, often in collaboration with an engineer.
  2. Conducts quality tests (destructive and non-destructive) to detect non-conformance issues and identifies causes of rejects.
  3. Identifies causes of rejects in complex non-conformance cases and follows up for corrective actions.
  4. Reads and interprets complex blueprints and specifications, including customer and vendor specifications.
  5. Assists Production during start-up of new fabrication and authorizes the commencement of production.
  6. Calibrates measuring instruments using standards and sets up instruments for inspection.
  7. May train other inspectors.
You are meant for this job if:
  • You have a certificate or equivalent / technical background.
  • You have over 2 years of experience.
  • You have welding / Non-Destructive Testing related experience and/or qualification.
