Description for Internal Candidates

Role Purpose

The ERP Supply Chain Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimizing the supply chain modules of an ERP system. This role ensures the effective functioning of ERP applications related to procurement, inventory management, order fulfillment, logistics, and supply chain planning. The analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes, provide insights through data analysis, and ensure that supply chain operations run efficiently using ERP technologies within set KPI's, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

Key Activities

ERP Supply Chain Applications Support

  • Provide day-to-day support for ERP modules related to supply chain management, including Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, Warehouse Management, and Logistics.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the supply chain applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Maintain system configurations and settings, ensuring they align with business processes and operational requirements.
  • Work with supply chain, procurement, and inventory teams to understand their needs and identify opportunities for system improvements and automation.
  • Continuously assess supply chain processes to recommend and implement system solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Support the identification and implementation of process improvements within procurement, inventory control, order fulfillment, and logistics.
  • Provide training to end-users on supply chain modules within the ERP system, ensuring that they are equipped to efficiently perform their tasks.
  • Develop and maintain training materials and user documentation to support ongoing system usage and best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for end-user inquiries and offer continuous support in using the system effectively.

System Configuration, Testing and Customization

  • Configure and customize ERP supply chain modules to meet business needs, including defining workflows, creating custom reports, and optimizing system settings.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and IT teams to design and implement system enhancements that improve operational efficiency and performance.
  • Ensure that ERP configurations and customizations are aligned with industry best practices and meet the requirements of key stakeholders.
  • Participate in system upgrades and new feature rollouts to ensure that supply chain applications are functioning as required.
  • Conduct testing for new configurations, customizations, and features, ensuring that the solutions meet business requirements before being deployed to production.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to apply patches and updates to the supply chain modules and test them for system stability and compatibility.

Data Integration and Management

  • Ensure smooth integration and flow of data between supply chain modules and other ERP systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy across all business functions.
  • Oversee data integrity within the ERP system, identifying and addressing data discrepancies in supply chain transactions, inventory levels, and procurement processes.
  • Manage interfaces between ERP systems and external tools, ensuring compatibility and smooth data exchange for improved supply chain decision-making.

Reporting and Financial Analysis

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into supply chain performance, including inventory levels, order status, supplier performance, and procurement costs.
  • Work closely with business users to create ad-hoc reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making across the supply chain functions.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, forecast future demand, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

Compliance and Audit Support

  • Ensure that supply chain processes within the ERP system comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Support audit activities by providing relevant data, documentation, and process support for supply chain-related controls and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor ERP system usage to ensure that data is being entered and maintained correctly, reducing the risk of errors and ensuring consistent reporting.

Policies, Processes, and Procedures

  • Conduct day-to-day activities while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, and processes considering leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.

Qualifications for Internal Candidates

Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT is required.
  • Strong Project management skills, ERP Management and people management.
  • Advanced Technical and Managerial Certifications (ITIL, OCP, PMP, OBIEE, ..etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of SCM Modules (Purchasing, inventory, contracts.etc)
  • In-depth knowledge of oracle technologies (Workflow and AME configurations, Oracle alerts, System administrator)
  • good knowledge of finance modules.
  • Experience in BPR & systems design
  • Highly skilled in IT service management (Delivery and Support)
  • Dynamic teambuilding and leading for success.
  • Customer focus.

Education and Certifications

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or related field is required.
  • Certificate in Oracle Procurement or Oracle Inventory is required.
