Internal Job Title: Module Assembly Team Leader

Job Purpose

Lead the Module Assembly Production Team to achieve production targets and maintain high levels of efficiency, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.

Job Context

Ensure compliance with all HSE, Quality, Inventory, On-Time Delivery, and Productivity requirements by the Assembly Line Team.

Job Dimensions

Coordinate Module Built Activities in Lucy Saudi Arabia aligned with Global Operations Standards.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Meet the module assembly production targets for SF6 products as per the plan.
  2. Lead the Module Assembly Team.
  3. Continuously improve productivity and report weekly on KPIs such as Production Efficiency and FPY.
  4. Create a work environment that meets ISO 9001/14001 quality standards.
  5. Allocate workload to operators daily.
  6. Validate BOM and report errors to the Contracts Department.
  7. Coordinate with Production Engineering to optimize process flow for cost reduction and waste minimization.
  8. Implement Total Quality System by deploying correct manufacturing processes.
  9. Reduce total cycle time (throughput time).
  10. Train workers on product and technical aspects.
  11. Coordinate with internal customers and suppliers like Fabrication, Stores, and Quality to meet production targets.
  12. Ensure overall 5S compliance.
  13. Ensure tools, fixtures, templates, and measuring instruments are calibrated periodically.
  14. Manage workstation layout and process flow.
  15. Facilitate a safe working environment and implement H&S guidelines.
  16. Solve assembly problems and train operators for multiple assemblies.
  17. Conduct regular inspections of critical assemblies and rework/repair as needed.
  18. Manage control and stock of production consumables and WIP.
  19. Generate and circulate reports related to line stoppages.
  20. Follow the one-piece flow concept consistently.
  21. Develop and update training programs and matrices for skill development.
  22. Analyze rejection reasons due to operator errors.
  23. Circulate daily production updates to stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering.
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Self-starter with initiative for additional responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and Lean tools like Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Gemba.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills to lead a team of over 80 blue-collar employees.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of the impact of poor quality and safety in manufacturing.
