Job description

Snap Inc is a technology company dedicated to enhancing communication and human progress through innovative camera products. Our core offerings include Snapchat, Lens Studio, and Spectacles AR glasses.

We are seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to join Team Snapchat in Riyadh, working within our MENA Creative Strategy Team. This role involves driving creative ambitions with major advertisers, working closely with the Sales team, brand partners, and agencies to craft exceptional advertising campaigns on Snapchat.

The ideal candidate will possess a curious and creative mindset, with experience in digital and mobile advertising, and a strong opinion on mobile technology's impact on brand-consumer relationships. You should aim to become a leading voice in the MENA market, especially concerning AR and mobile storytelling on Snapchat.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop creative ideas, strategies, and presentations to meet marketing goals for top clients on Snapchat.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agencies to understand their business objectives.
  3. Inspire and educate clients and agencies about Snapchat's potential through presentations and pitches.
  4. Stay updated on cultural and social trends relevant to our audience.
  5. Collaborate on campaign design and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Work with the Sales team to develop long-term brand and partnership strategies aligned with business goals.
  7. Manage multiple clients and verticals effectively.
  8. Foster relationships with internal teams like account management, production, and sales.
  9. Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scalable client solutions.
  10. Share best practices and identify cross-sell opportunities within the global and local Creative Strategy teams.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of digital/mobile marketing and social platform strategies.
  • Experience in creating innovative digital experiences and impactful strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in brand marketing/advertising.
  • Experience with the Saudi market, including local and multinational brands.
  • Ability to develop customer-centric strategies tailored to platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Saudi cultural norms and regional nuances.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of innovative creative solutions across digital and offline mediums.
  • Strong understanding of brand marketing and strategic planning.
  • Experience working with or within creative/media agencies in Saudi Arabia.
  • Excellent problem-solving and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and lead advertising solutions.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite, Adobe Suite, and Keynote.
